Following the great time that was had last time we had a gaming weekend and as I won’t be running Slouch hat this year I present dungeon 2012

The basic premise is Games start Friday arvo downstairs at my house (8 games tables, chairs beer fridge) and finish Sunday arvo 2-3pm , July 6th, 7th and 8th.

There will be a maximum of 16 players so it’s first come first served. Cost for the weekend will be 10 dollars (to pay for tables and such). There will be a trivia night on the Saturday night and going out for dinner on both nights.

Each person may bring one miniatures game (blood bowl, DBMM, Flames of war etc) You must bring both sides and know the rules of the game. This year if you can bring a multi player scenario based game like the invasion of Normandy or similar syled display game would be encouraged.

Each person may also bring a board game, card game, rpg or similar. You must bring both sides and know the rules of the game. Again multi player games like Britannia are encouraged

The only real restrictions to the weekend are you must know the rules for any game you bring. It may not take longer than 3 hours if a two player game and no longer than 6 hours if a multi player game with 3 or more players in it. Ideally You can’t play the same game more than once unless you are running it and no more than 2 times if you are running it. But if you want to, you can play the same game as many times as you like but it’s not the point of the weekend .

To repeat again, You can bring multiples of both types of game, but you must know the rules and be prepared to teach people how to play.

There will be at the end of the weekend a couple of prizes on offer, best miniature game scenario and best board/card game and maybe a couple of others.

Pretty simple weekend, last time people just bounced from game to game and had a great time no stress

There are a few spaces here at my house for people who want some where to crash, there is a hotel 500 mtrs up the road let me know if anyone wants the number.

Please confirm (Only players who have confirmed thier intrest with me can enter) as soon as you are able as I have to limit it to 16 players first come, first served.

Incursion, a sci fi fantasy WWII board game.

so eleven players now with a Gav monster sized Flames of war D-day table, and a Glatiator Miniatures game from the rorter.

Woo hoo Great, the Fallon is coming ?  Excellent, this means there'll be some recreational alcohol abuse I suspect ?

Sweet Can't wait to play on this table, I don't think I have ever played a beach assault game.

I'll more than likely be bringing Axis and Allies, Settlers of Catan.....I am thinking about Talisman as well.

a) Haven't you got "Great the Fallon" round the wrong way?

b) I never abuse alchohol, I'm always caring and loving, tender even...

Some of the prizes have turned up today! So it's full steam ahead!

just a short update.

Just a short update.

Everything is progressing fine here, painting, painting, painting.

Just a couple of things,

Can anyone bring a trestle table or two? ( the more tables we have the less I have to hire)If you can help out, please let me know.

Are people interested in going out for dinner (fire in the belly one of the best pizza restaurants in the country)on the Friday night? Let me know so I can make a group booking.

Any questions please contact me or if you have someone that you think would fit in and like to play for the weekend please let me know, as we could maybe have a couple of more players.
