The Dystopian wars table might take another day before the completed table is posted on the site (the first half of the partly finished table can be seen in the Gallery). I have decided to do some more work on it before posting, projects like this can take up way to much of your time as you keep finding extra things that need "fixing" or adding too.

Dystopian wars table finished with just the buildings to finish. I have 2 english Dystopian wars scout flyers that are also finished. Though they have sucked up a huge amount of work and still don't look as good as I think they should. I probably needed to have a clearer plan before I started.

Also finished a Battle tech figure finished, a "Word of Blake" Blackjack, of all things. Why I picked an all white colour scheme I have no idea. White is so hard to get right, this time...

Hmmm what to say?

I played badly, others played.............

Meh! best to move on and let it go

Anyway met up with good friends enjoyed their company, now back to painting.

Off to a one day DBMM ancients competition on the weekend to Give the powerhouse of the ancient world (The Lysignian Cypriots) an outing.

I'm donnating a couple of 28mm trophies for the event.

First place trophy.

Guess what the competition organiser does for a living?

Special prize trophy.

What for? ...

Calender added for events (please let me know if there is an event you want added) and a few extra bits and bobs and a completion of the game report.

Let me know if it's worth doing another game report as I'm not sure how it reads to others.

These next two pictures are different views of the same stage of the battle.

The Catalan's fierce warriors that they are, launch a devastating attack on the Finn's in the wood with overlaps and one promptly dies, so much for fierce warriors. The Turks wear some bow fire but apart from some of them recoiling are unconcerned.

The Cypriots launch their attack.

On the left The mercenary Catalans (superior Axillia Ax (s)) and Turkish Light horse (Lh (S) head towards the gap between the woods and the end of the Swede battle line.

In the centre The CINC (commander in chief) in charge of the knights, some bow and the Stradiots (Albanian Light horse ordinary Lh(O)) and the peasant horde Guarding the baggage. cautiously moves the knights forward once and the crossbow a few times to...

I've tidied up the site added part two of the game to the blog and added a document widget to the toolbar so you can download some of the rule sets and campaign systems that people have asked me for over the years.

Most will be a cut down version suitable for competition play, quick and won’t affect or alter the draw for each round in a competition, but give an extra dimension to the completion without the organisers brain frying.
